Communiqué – Change in Prime Lending Rate (PLR) and Savings Deposit Rate

March 31, 2023

We wish to inform our customers and the public at large that our Prime Lending Rate (PLR) and Savings Deposit Rate are being revised as follows:

Prime Lending Rate (PLR): 7.95%

Savings Deposit Rate: 3.05%

The below interest rates will apply to our savings products as from Saturday 01 April 2023 :

Normal savings account	• Balance between MUR 10,000 and MUR 1,000,000: 3.05% p.a. ¹ • Balance between MUR 1,000,000 and MUR 2,000,000: 3.10% p.a. ² • Balance above MUR 2,000,000: 3.40% p.a. ³
Savings account with cheque book	1.00% p.a. ⁴
Emma account	3.20% p.a. ⁵
First step account	3.20% p.a. ⁵

Please note that our tariff structure is also being revised effective from Saturday 01 April 2023.
